Mars Matrix
Hi all, I'm probably one of the only team players with a ton of experience playing this game. I can upload my INP of my gameplay.
Essentially, the entire game is contingent upon learning to chain properly in level one. The higher your chain, the bigger your shot can get, as your "chain" is concatenating a collection gold boxes in a set amount of time. If you collect larger gold boxes, you get more time to get to the next one, but the smallest ones give you about a second to get to the next one. You have options, unlike DoDonPachi or other games where the chain is often a set pattern.
There's also only ONE button. That button is used in four ways - standard shot (tapping), pierce shot (tapping every second - more powerful), reflect shot (holding the button down to absorb bullets, then releasing the absorbed bullets in the OPPOSITE direction of your last directional movement to generate gold boxes off of a solid object), and the "gravity bomb" which is the effect of holding down the button until it "explodes" and impacts all the enemies around you. Your ability to reflect and bomb are based on the meter on the lower left of the screen being charged.
I'm happy to up my INP of my 116 billion score, which is a very standard score for someone who knows how to play the game. An exceptionally good score is in excess of 200 billion.

A "very standard score" of 116 billion. I guess I'd better get to work then!

Re: Mars Matrix
My advice is to work on your level 1 chain until you're able to get a minimum of 300-400 from the start. The game is utterly unplayable for score unless you get a good initial chain, because the chain determines your shot. Study this youtube. Also, use the blue ship. It's way better IMO.
